The Academic Senate is currently looking for nominees who are interested in and willing to serve on the following University committees.

Nominees must fill all general qualifications for positions. Note that some committee member and chair positions have additional requirements, such as specific rank or prior service on that committee.

  • Senate Chair: at least 6 WTUs and 4 years at CI
  • Senators, whether directly selected or ex officio: at least 6 WTUs and 2 years at CI
  • All other positions: current employment as faculty at CI

  • Brief statement(s) of interest in the position and relevant experience, suitable for public distribution
  • Year of first appointment at CI, for positions with service requirements

Positions open for appointment S24

Positions not filled during the annual elections process, or vacancies that arise after the conclusion of the election process, will be filled by appointment. For multi-year vacancies to be filled by appointment, it is acceptable to offer to serve only for the remainder of the current academic year.
