The Academic Senate is currently looking for nominees who are interested in and willing to serve on the following University committees.
Nominees must fill all general qualifications for positions. Note that some committee member and chair positions have additional requirements, such as specific rank or prior service on that committee.
- Senate Chair: at least 6 WTUs and 4 years at CI
- Senators, whether directly selected or ex officio: at least 6 WTUs and 2 years at CI
- All other positions: current employment as faculty at CI
If you are interested, please nominate yourself via an email sent to the Appointments, Elections, and Bylaws Committee. Only self-nominations will be accepted. Elections will be held according to the schedule listed in the Call for Nominations; appointments will be made on a rolling basis.

Positions open for appointment S24
Positions not filled during the annual elections process, or vacancies that arise after the conclusion of the election process, will be filled by appointment. For multi-year vacancies to be filled by appointment, it is acceptable to offer to serve only for the remainder of the current academic year.
